A showing of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” came to ABC’s rescue Monday night, helping the Disney-owned broadcaster edge out its Big 4 competition to tie for first place in the key demo with Spanish-language network Univision during a rerun-packed primetime, according to Nielsen.

Aside from ABC’s broadcast of the Tom Holland-led 2017 Marvel/Sony film, every program shown on NBC, CBS, Fox and The CW was an encore, which is par for the course due to the holidays. But in the battle of the reruns, CBS managed to prevail with the total-viewers victory thanks to repeats of sitcoms like “The Neighborhood.”

ABC and Univision tied for first in ratings, both with a 0.5 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic,  according to preliminary numbers. ABC got a 3 share and was third in viewers with 2.5 million. Univision had a 2 share and was fifth in viewers with 1.4 million.

NBC and CBS tied for third in ratings, each with a 0.4/2. CBS was first in viewers with 4.2 million and NBC was second with 2.6 million.

Telemundo and Fox tied for fifth in ratings with a 0.3. Fox had a 2 share and was fourth in viewers with 1.7 million. Telemundo had a 1 share and was seventh in viewers with 826,000.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and sixth in viewers with 831,000.
